==簡介==
小瓜帽的顏色明確表示了佩戴者的等級，[[教宗]]用白色，[[樞機]]用紅色，[[主教]]用紫色，[[總院長]]、[[神父]]用黑色。所有的神職人員在面見[[羅馬教宗]]([[教皇]])時都必須脫掉zucchetto，除非[[教宗]]指示他們不必這樣做。

小瓜帽是在[[彌撒]]時，具主教以上等級的[[神職人員]]都戴著這種帽子，除了在念《[[感恩經]]》的時候之外。

Zucchetto的使用在[[羅馬]][[禮天主教會]]和[[抗羅宗]][[英國]]聖公宗中較為常見，天主教[[敘利亞]][[馬蘭卡拉]]禮儀中偶有出現。

[[中世紀]]時，男性[[修士]]必須在頭頂上剃出一個圓圈，是為[[剃髮禮]]，故戴小瓜帽以禦寒。

1965年[[第二次梵蒂岡大公會議]]禮儀改革之後，剃髮禮已取消，小瓜帽則成為了禮儀的帽飾。

==起源==
小瓜帽起源於[[希臘]]的皮洛什（Pilos），開始大規模使用在[[中世紀]]早期，這是為了保證神職人員經過削髮禮後依然能保持頭頂的溫暖。它的外觀幾乎與[[猶太教]]的[[亞莫克小帽]]一樣，但是含義卻大不相同。

小瓜帽Zucchetto，[[中國]]信眾一般稱為「小瓜帽」，這是一種半圓形佩戴在頭部的帽子，覆蓋了頭蓋骨的上層。

==製作==
在天主教傳統里，小瓜帽通常由[[絲綢]]或[[聚酯]]面料製作而成。在縫製時將用三至八塊不等的布連接到一起。在小瓜帽中間還會有一根雙線絞纏的絲繩，這為使製作帽子與使用帽子時更加方便而設計的。中間的絲繩是[[基督]]信仰中的瓜帽與猶太教的亞莫克小帽主要的區別。

小瓜帽的內層應是薄[[皮革]]的，放在帽子的內襯中；這一點至關重要，因為它將讓小瓜帽的外形永遠保持半圓形，不會變成「尖的」。同時內部還裝飾有[[絲絨]]，為了確保它在頭上的摩擦力和保暖性。大多數現代的zucchetto設計，是在內部儘可能簡單自然，比如加一塊稍厚的襯布。

小瓜帽是由八片布縫合而成，上加一根帽莖，
