叶革质，椭圆形，长7-13(15)厘米，宽2-4厘米，先端渐尖或尾状渐尖，基部楔形，两面无毛或下面有微柔毛，中、侧脉较细，两面突起，下面较明显，侧脉每边6-7条，横脉及小脉极细，下面明显；

Petiole 1-2 cm, glabrous; leaf blade elliptic, 7-13(-15) × 2-4 cm, leathery, glabrous on both surfaces or puberulent abaxially, midrib and lateral veins more slender, elevated on both surfaces, lateral veins 6 or 7 pairs, veinlets abaxially conspicuous. 

Flowers not seen. Infructescences subterminal, 3-7 cm, glabrous. Fruit ellipsoid, 1.1-1.3 cm × 5-7 mm; fruiting pedicel 6-8 mm, slightly thickened; persistent perianth lobes ovate, 3-4 × ca. 2.5 mm, leathery, glabrous outside, gray-brown pubescent inside, apex obtuse, clasping at base of fruit. Fr. Sep-Nov.

Lowlands of mixed forests. SW Guangxi, Hainan [Vietnam].
