*一開始The Chainsmokers是為獨立樂團製作混音。2012年，與印度知名女演員兼歌手[[佩丽冉卡·曹帕拉]]Priyanka Chopra合作的歌曲《Erase》，才逐漸打開知名度。

*2014年，發行了第一首單曲《Selfie》。奪下美國電子舞曲榜冠軍。並受[[史蒂夫·青木]]Steve Aoki網羅而與Dim Mak唱片公司簽約。隨後發行了與Siren XX合作的《Kanye》、與 Great Good Fine Ok 合作的《Let You Go》等 Progressive House漸進浩室曲風。

*2015年4月，被[[索尼音樂娛樂]]Sony Music簽下。10月，發行第一首EP《Bouquet》，其中單曲《Roses》登上電子舞曲榜冠軍。 

*2016年，在年初推出第二張迷你專輯《Collage》，《Don't Let Me Down》獲得第 59 屆葛萊美獎最佳舞曲唱片獎。4月推出的《Inside Out》，還有7月發行的與[[海爾希]] Halsey 合作的歌曲 《Closer》，在Billboard單曲榜獲得了冠軍。9月與Phoebe Ryan合作《All We Know》。
