凯特·A·曼恩(Kate A. Manne)出生于澳大利亚维多利亚州。目前任教于康奈尔大学Sage 哲学学院担任副教授。[1][2]
教育背景
- 2001-2005年于墨尔本大学，学习哲学、逻辑，和计算机科学。[3]
- 2006-2011年麻省理工学院攻读哲学博士。
- 2011-2013年是哈佛研究员协会的初级研究员。
- 2013年起在康奈尔大学Sage 哲学学院任教哲学院工作，于2019年升任副教授。
影响
曼恩尤以其在厌女上的工作出名。她所著《不只是厌女》（Down Girl）一书不仅在学术界产生了广泛影响，还成为了流行的大众读物，被华盛顿邮报等多家媒体评为当年的最佳书籍[4][5]。
