王建涛,男,1964年生,汉族,工学博士。 1996年毕业于日本东北大学金属材料系,2007年任中国科学院物理研究所研究员[1]博士生导师[2],长期致力于表面/界面等低维复杂系统第一性原理物性计算研究。

2002年任中国科学院物理研究所副研究员、科技处副处长、处长等职

兼任北京市物理学会第十三届理事会常务理事、《科学观察》编委

研究方向

半导体表面物性,金属超晶格磁性,纳米团簇物性等低维复杂系统第一性原理计算研究。

科研成果

系统地研究了3d过渡金属与Cu、Ag、Au等构成多层膜的磁性以及III族、V族元素在半导体硅表面形成纳米结构的动力学机制。Sb4纳米团簇在硅表面上的"两步双重分段旋转分解机制"被《科技导报》选为2006年中国重大科学进展的三十项工作之一[见《科技导报》2007年第一期]。在 Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Review B, Nano Letters 等学术期刊发表论文40余篇。
