讓-雅克·拉豐 (LAFFONT, Jean-Jacques Marcel ,1947年－2004年)出生於法國圖盧茲Toulouse, France.是一位法國當代著名經濟學家，專業領域為一般經濟理論與數量經濟學(economist in the field of General Economic Theory; Quantitative Economic Methods)。
從2001年到他2004年去世，他是南加州大學約翰·埃利奧特經濟學教席(California's John Elliott Chair in Economics.)的首任持有人(inaugural holder}。在他的職業生涯中，他寫了17本書和200多篇文章。如果他還活著，他很可能會與同事兼合作者讓·梯若爾(Jean Tirole)分享 2014 年諾貝爾經濟學獎。
生平
- 1970~1972年獲得工程文憑(University of Toulouse)從法國國立統計及經濟管理學校(Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE) 獲得數學博士。
- 1975年在美國哈佛大學取得經濟學博士學位。
- 1975年~1987年:圖盧茲在圖盧茲大學 (University of Toulouse)教授經濟學並創辦了產業經濟研究中心(Institut D'Economie Industrielle, IDEI)。
- 1980–2004年:經濟學教授 (Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales) ENSAE。
- 1991–200年:任教於圖盧茲大學(University of Toulouse )。

拉豐的研究著作頗豐,出版了17本經濟學專著並發表了200多篇學術論文.拉豐在激勵理論,公共經濟學理論,規制理論,發展經濟學等領域都有突出貢獻, 他和讓·梯若爾合著的《政府採購與規制中的激勵理論》（麻省理工出版社，1993年）是經濟規制理論方面的權威著作。
