吉德安·笛福 （Gideon Defoe）是一名英国小说家。他的知名作品是 The Pirates! 系列，讲述一位海盗船长与手下们冒险的喜剧故事。

他在出版中表示，他写海盗这部书的目的是想要一位女性为了他而离开她原来的男友(不过她并没有这么做)。

海盗系列的前两本已经被改拍成电影《神奇海盗团》，英国于2012年3月28日上映。
