史提芬·伊宏思（C. Stephen Evans）是一位著名的基督教宗教哲學家及歷史學家，耶魯大學哲學博士。伊宏思專門研究祁克果的哲學思想，並在25年內著有六本相關著作，當中打響他的知名度的是《Subjectivity & Religious Belief》。他曾在美國密歇根州加爾文學院教授哲學多年，現時是得克薩斯州貝勒大學的哲學與人文學教授，基督教作家。

基督宗教中，聖人或聖徒，指從世界中分別出來而被聖化的人。《新約聖經》中所稱「聖人」包括所有信耶穌的人、已死的信徒和殉道者。後來在一些基督教宗派中，聖人是指因生前德行以及奇蹟表明其行在神的特殊恩寵與親密共融中，經由認證的程序，而被該宗派認可具有尊榮地位的人物。

簡介

在美國喬治亞州的阿特蘭大市出生，大學時期前往伊利諾伊州東北部惠頓市的私立基督教惠頓學院（Wheaton College）升學。之後轉往耶魯大學進修，修讀哲學碩士及哲學博士。
