简介
有“白头笑星”之称的斯蒂夫·马丁生于美国德克萨斯州，10岁时搬至南加州定居，少年时期就对戏剧产生了浓厚的兴趣。1977年，他曾因演出《荒唐侍者》(The Absent-Minded Waiter) 入围最佳男配角。直到进入80年代后，斯蒂夫·马丁在大银幕上的表演才越来越受到观众们的欢迎。其后他在喜剧片的表演上精益求精，更凭借一张机敏且充满幽默感的巧嘴成为热场高手，是热门电视节目“周六夜现场”的常客，也曾多次受邀主持奥斯卡电影奖与格莱美音乐奖颁奖典礼。
2000年更迎来他事业的新高峰，由于风格另类而没有一部作品正式获得过奥斯卡承认的他，终于获颁美国电影学院的奥斯卡终身成就奖(喜剧)。2000年这座奥斯卡终身成就奖的含金量之高可能超出一般人的想象。尽管备受观众的喜爱，但是斯蒂夫·马丁过去的作品一向以结构小巧的中低成本B片见长。而在获得这座金像奖之后，各大影业公司都积极斥资与他合作，以至于一年便有4部斯蒂夫·马丁主演的影片在北美上映。在这4部由斯蒂夫挂牌出演的影片里，《爱到房倒屋塌》便是其中最具卖相也最具人气的大卖座片。影片投资超过2千万美元，由《月光旅程》的制作方海德公园娱乐公司担任影片制作，以执导浪漫喜剧《婚礼计划者》成为商业票房导演的亚当·山克曼带领剧组执棒。之后由斯蒂夫·马丁的《儿女一箩筐》和《儿女一箩筐2》都是既叫好又叫座的喜剧片。2006年他与碧昂斯和让·雷诺合作了新版的《粉红豹》，虽然影片口碑不佳，但斯蒂夫·马丁的号召力仍不减当年。[2]
