吉德安·笛福 （Gideon Defoe）是一名英國小說家。他的知名作品是 The Pirates! 系列，講述一位海盜船長與手下們冒險的喜劇故事。

他在出版中表示，他寫海盜這部書的目的是想要一位女性為了他而離開她原來的男友(不過她並沒有這麼做)。

海盜系列的前兩本已經被改拍成電影《神奇海盜團》，英國於2012年3月28日上映。
