张楚汉[1]

水利水电工程专家。1933年10月11日生于广东梅州。1957年毕业于清华大学水利工程系，1965年研究生毕业。清华大学水利水电工程系教授。2001年当选为中国科学院院士。长期从事水工结构工程与抗震研究。

工作经历

1978-1981年在美国加州大学（柏克利）从事研究。现为美国土木工程师协会会员，加拿大Concordia大学兼职客座教授，中国力学学会荣誉会员，中国水利学会名誉理事，水利部科技委委员。

研究方向

长期从事水工结构工程与抗震研究。研究不规则无限域模拟，提出无限边界单元和拱坝－地基－库水动力相互作用的时域模型，将该模型与拱坝横缝非线性结构耦合，得到了地基辐射阻尼可比传统方法降低拱坝地震响应25％～30％的重要结论，已应用于我国300米级高拱坝抗震设计中。运用动力边界元法与断裂力学原理，提出重力坝地震断裂与拱坝裂缝扩展模型，将这一模型发展到各向异性介质与非线性混凝土材料，进行了动力断裂试验验证，应用于多座混凝土坝抗震设计。提出时域动力边界元与离散元耦合模型，应用于大型地下厂房以及三峡船闸高边坡变形稳定预报。

学术成果[2]

研究紧密结合我国水利水电高坝工程实践，完成了三峡、二滩、小湾、溪落渡等30多项高坝结构与抗震等关键技术研究。已培养工学博士30余名。发表论文200余篇，SCI收录30余篇，SCI他引130篇次以上，合作撰写专著3部，其中《Numerical Modeling of Concrete Dam-Foundation-Reservoir Systems》为英文版清华大学学术专著。
