赞美歌是赞美神的歌曲，以管风琴[1]伴奏的合唱曲。由赞美诗发展而来。取《圣经[2]》或其他教会文字为歌词。在基督教会中举行奉贤仪式或布道之后用英文唱歌。其中包含独唱的，称为"独唱赞美歌";无独唱的，称为"合唱赞美歌"。十六世纪宗教改革后，基督教新教的赞美歌相当于旧教中的经文歌。
