目前與法國關係是摩納哥的外交重心，於經濟、安全等領域關係密切。
摩納哥於1993年加入聯合國，目前是[[聯合國教科文組織]]、[[世界衛生組織]]、[[世界旅遊組織]]等約70個國際組織的成員國。諸多國際機構總部設於摩納哥，如：[[國際海道測量組織]](又稱[[國際海道測量組織|國際水文組織]] International Hydrographic Organization ,IHO)、[[國際田徑總會]](IAAF)。
