1994-1998，学士:上海交通大学，自动化系 (优秀毕业生)
1998-2001，硕士:清华大学，计算机科学与技术系
2001-2006，博士:美国北卡罗来纳州立大学，主修计算机工程，辅修数学
2006年由上海交通大学引进。2009年获得IEEE通信学会亚太区杰出青年研究奖(IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2009)。长期以来从事无线网络编码，认知无线电的研究。2007年于国外出版英文专著《Wired and Wireless Networks: A Transport Layer Perspective》(VDM V
erlag Publisher, ISBN: 978-3-8364-2772-2)。在IEEE杂志和会议等发表论文60余篇，申请专利10余项。承担国家自然科学基金、重点，科技部国际合作基金，教育部博士点、回国留学人员基金，上海市浦江人才、科技创新重点项目等10余项。曾获IEEE IPCCC"最佳论文奖"。
曾在多个著名国际会议、期刊上发布论文，包括:网络研究的知名国际会议ACM MobiCom 2009，ACM MobiHoc 2009、2008，IEEE INFOCOM 2005;无线通信网络的国际核心期刊如IEEE Trans on Networking 2008，IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing 2009，IEEE Trans on Wireless Communications 2009、2008、2007。
