主要研究
果蝇的生物多样性，动物地理学和进化遗传学;主要对亚洲及东南亚地区产果蝇进行区系分类学研究，探索地理分布与地质变迁的相互关系;利用分子遗传学方面的信息，对其进行系统发育分析，研究果蝇在亚洲东部及东南亚地区的适应辐射机制和进化生物学特点，修订和重建自然分类体系。
研究项目
1. 果蝇的系统分类学和分子系统发育研究(05年教育部高等学校博士授予点专项研究基金)。
2.菌食性果蝇的系统分类学和进化生物学研究(06年国家自然科学基金)。
