1995年5月8日，朴正花在[[韓國]][[京畿道]][[安養市]]出生。
出道前，正花曾當過[[JYP娛樂]]和[[Cube娛樂]]的練習生。2011年參與成員[[安孝珍|LE]]與[[許閣]]合作的單曲《每當響起這首歌》<ref>[http://kpopn.com/2011/12/09/96131/ 許閣 & LE-每當響起這首歌]</ref> 的音樂錄影帶。在2012年2月16日，由[[安孝珍|LE]]、正花、[[安喜延|哈妮]]、[[鄭有智|有智]]、[[姜蕙姸|多美]]和[[羅海嶺|海嶺]]組成的EXID以單曲《HOLLA》出道，主打曲為《Whoz That Girl》<ref>[http://kpopn.com/2012/02/15/107639/ EXID 出道曲 MV 公開！]</ref> ，令初出道的EXID即獲到大眾關注。

===正花因英語發音引發種族歧視爭議===
