她於2006年發行第一張單曲Walls，最高到當地排行榜的第三位；於07年發行的初張同名專輯Susanne Sundfør也於當地排行榜最高到了第三位。
08年1月翻唱了[[鮑勃·迪倫]]的歌曲Masters of War。
08年2月，她被當地的Spellemannprisen音樂頒獎單位授與「最佳女性音樂人」的獎項，而後她引起了舉國的爭論，因她於受獎時說到：「我首先並且主要是一個藝術工作者，而不是優先作為一個女性來領這個獎。」而後有爭論在於「年度最佳音樂工作者」的獎項仍舊有性別區分的情況是否代表著一種過時的觀念。
2010年正式加入樂團Hypertext。
