===院系设置===
该院设教学四系三部<ref>[https://www.thea.cn/xgkfd_zx_1683771-1.htm 2019山西体育职业学院专业介绍]，教育联展网，2019-4-25</ref>，分别为竞技体育系、运动训练一系、运动训练二系、社会体育系和大学本科部，成教部，附中附小部。其中包括竞技体育、运动训练、社会体育、体育服务与管理、体育保健等8个专业，竞技体育专业12个体育项目承担全运会任务，选拔奥运会人才。其中[[沙滩排球]]、[[手球]]、[[摔跤]]、[[乒乓球]]、[[体育舞蹈]]、[[定向越野]]为该院传统的和发展中的优势项目。学院面向全省招生，2012在校生约2200人，以专科学生为主，辅以中专学生。
