吴信东（Xindong Wu），男 ，1963 ，西元1963 年9月生于 [[ 安徽省 ]] 枞阳县项铺镇。曾任 [[ 美国 ]][[ 佛蒙特大学 ]] （University of Vermont）计算机科学系系主任和正教授，现任合肥工业大学计算机应用岗位。2010年11月当选为IEEE Fellow，2012年当选AAAS Fellow 。
