Her main Specialty Field: human potentialities / parapsychology PSI, geologic and mineral prospecting, complex system, geosystem science, decision consultant, oriental philosophy and religion.

At the second half of the year 1987, applying her extrasensory potentialities, Gaea SUN was carrying out a series of geological prospecting experiments arranged and supported by China Academy of Geosciences, Bureau of Geology and Mineral resources, Liaoning Province, National Ministry of Metallurgic Industry etc. The results from her prospecting experiments in the target regions, such as Jinchangyu Gold Mining District (directly under the National Ministry of Metallurgic Industry) in Hebei Province and Guanmenshan Lead-Zinc Mine in Liaoning Province, turned out to be exhilarating and inspiring. Encouraged by such practical achievements, she took the confidence and proceeded to perform a great many substantial mineral prospecting experiments in the following years. According to No.239 Official Document (1988) ratified by the Education Department of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, exempted from routine examinations, she was exceptionally admitted to Department of Geosciences and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in a special recruiting plan. A specialized tutorial education group was constructed to teach her geological expertise, and to arrange a large number of prospecting experiments on her. She graduated as a Bachelor of Science in the summer of 1993. Serving for the Teaching & Research Section of Geological Prospecting,; As a member of Institute of Somatic Science, proceeding full-time research of the ESP application in mineral prospecting; taking part in the “Realizer’s Project For Human Potentialities (RPHP)”. Read for master's degree on the specialty of Mineral Resources Survey and Geological Reconnaissance in Energy Department of Resources Institute, China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
