2011年末定安县辖定城、新竹、龙湖、黄竹、雷鸣、龙门、岭口、翰林、龙河、富文10个镇，下设15个居民委员，108个村民委员会，领导274个居民小组，1600个村民小组。共有935个自然村，3个国营农场和1个国营林场，行政区域面积1196.6平方千米。：1189平方公里。
