== 習性 ==

喜愛群居。生活在熱带草原、熱带森林和高原。在早晨、傍晚和夜晚活動，白天休息。喜歡在水邊覓食，喜歡泡在水中，而且喜歡游泳，故名“水鹿”。善於奔跑。主要天敵是老虎和鱷鱼，因为它们也喜歡水。以草、樹枝和嫩芽為食。在每個月都能交配，妊娠期8個月，每胎1仔。
