研究方向
平面湍流中的多尺度過程：beta平面湍流中的羅斯貝波（Rossby Wave）,緯向急流（zonal jets）, 渦旋（coherent vortices），及其相互作用；利用理想數值模型模擬多尺度過程中的能量傳遞過程：比如小渦旋如何產生，如何將其能量傳遞給大尺度緯向急流、羅斯貝波等，慣性重力波在能量耗散中所起到的作用等；利用實驗室水台實驗，用以模擬平面多尺度過程。
