主要研究
果蠅的生物多樣性，動物地理學和進化遺傳學;主要對亞洲及東南亞地區產果蠅進行區系分類學研究，探索地理分布與地質變遷的相互關係;利用分子遺傳學方面的信息，對其進行系統發育分析，研究果蠅在亞洲東部及東南亞地區的適應輻射機制和進化生物學特點，修訂和重建自然分類體系。
研究項目
1. 果蠅的系統分類學和分子系統發育研究(05年教育部高等學校博士授予點專項研究基金)。
2.菌食性果蠅的系統分類學和進化生物學研究(06年國家自然科學基金)。
