劉雲新博士,電氣與電子工程師協會會士,清華大學國強冠名教授博士生導師[1],智能產業研究院首席研究員[2]

此前,他在微軟亞洲研究院工作近20年,擔任主任研究員,負責移動計算、邊緣計算、異構計算等研究方向。他在MobiSys、MobiCom、SenSys、TON、TMC等國際學術會議和期刊上發表學術論文90多篇,擁有已授權美國專利16項。他的研究成果成功應用到了Visual Studio等多項微軟產品中,並被國際媒體廣泛報道。他獲得了SenSys 2018最佳論文Runner-up獎,MobiCom 2015最佳演示獎,和PhoneSense 2011最佳論文獎。他曾任或現任多個國際學術會議的技術程序委員會成員,包括MobiSys、MobiCom 、ATC、WWW、INFOCOM等,並擔任國際學術會議MobiHoc 2021的大會共同主席,國際學術期刊IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing的編委,以及ACM SIGBED China副主席。

劉雲新博士是清華大學國強教授、博士生導師、智能產業研究院首席研究員,擔任清華大學(智能產業研究院)-亞信科技(中國)有限公司聯合研究中心主任、國家重點研發計劃項目負責人,入選國家高層次人才計劃。加入清華大學之前,他在微軟亞洲研究院工作近20年,擔任主任研究員,負責移動計算、邊緣計算、異構計算等研究方向。他在MobiSys、MobiCom、TON、TMC等國際學術會議和期刊上發表學術論文100多篇,擁有發明專利20餘項,包括已授權美國專利16項。他的研究成果成功應用到了Visual Studio等多項微軟產品中,並被國際媒體廣泛報道。他獲得了MobiSys 2021最佳論文獎、SenSys 2018最佳論文Runner-up獎、MobiCom 2015最佳演示獎、2022 CCF科技進步一等獎等獎項。他長期擔任多個國際學術會議的程序委員會成員,包括MobiSys、MobiCom 、SIGCOMM、ATC、WWW、INFOCOM等,現任或曾任MobiSys 2023的程序委員會共同主席 (TPC Co-Chair)、MobiHoc 2021的大會共同主席(General Co-Chair)、IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing的編委、中國科學技術大學兼職博導、以及ACM SIGBED China副主席。

1993年—1998年,在中國科學技術大學理論與應用力學和計算機軟件攻讀學士學位。

1998年—2001年,在清華大學 計算機系統結構攻讀 碩士學位。

2006年—2011年,在上海交通大學計算機應用技術攻讀博士學位。

2001年—2021年,歷任微軟亞洲研究院助理/副研究員、研究員、主管/高級/主任研究員。

2021年,清華大學智能產業研究院首席研究員。

2024年12月,當選為電氣與電子工程師協會會士(IEEE Fellow)。
