劉際明，男，劉際明教授是香港浸會大學計算機科學系講席教授（2010.04至今）、理學院院長（2021至今），曾任香港浸會大學協理副校長（研究）（2017.05-2019.12）和計算機科學系主任（2003-2011）。劉教授在加拿大麥吉爾大學獲電子工程專業碩士及博士學位。
社會任職
劉教授2011年被選為國際電氣與電子工程師協會會士(IEEE Fellow)。劉教授曾任Web Intelligence Journal (IOS)雜誌主編，以及IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Data and Information Analytics (AIMS), Computational Intelligence (Wiley) 等期刊的編委。他曾擔任 IEEE 計算機學會智能信息技術委員會（ TCII ）的主席。
