彭笑剛,湖南長沙人,納米材料學家,浙江大學化學系教授、博士生導師 ,納晶科技股份有限公司創始人、董事長。

1983年彭笑剛考入吉林大學化學系,先後獲得學士、碩士和博士學位;1994年前往美國加州大學伯克利分校進行博士後工作;

1996年進入加州大學勞倫斯伯克利國家實驗室工作;

1999年進入美國阿肯色大學化學和生物化學系任教,先後擔任助理教授、副教授、教授、講座教授;2009年辭去阿肯色大學教職,全職加盟浙江大學化學系;

2011年2月10日彭笑剛在湯森路透公司發布的全球頂尖一百名化學家榜單中名列第八 ;

2015年被評為全國先進工作者 。

彭笑剛主要從事膠狀納米晶的配位化學、無機納米材料的生長機制、功能納米晶的合成化學等研究工作 。
