曹道民，男，湖南常寧人，1963年生，數學家，中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院應用數學研究所所長[1] 、研究員、博士生導師[2] 。先後在湘潭大學數學系獲學士、碩士學位，1989年在中科院武漢數學物理研究所獲博士學位 。
國家傑出青年科學基金獲得者(2004年)，德國洪堡基金獲得者，中國科學院"百人計劃"入選者(1996年)[3] 。先後獲得中國科學院青年科學家獎一等獎(1999年)[4]、中國科學院傑出青年(2001年) 、中國科學院優秀指導老師 等榮譽。
目前主要從事非線性偏微分方程和非線性變分問題的研究，特別是應用非線性分析，如臨界點理論來研究非線性偏微分方程解的存在性，多解性等。
發表論文90多篇。多次承擔國家自然科學基金重點項目和面上項目，作為首席科學家承擔並完成了中國科學院知識創新工程重要方向性項目《數學物理中的若干重大問題》。現任《應用數學學報》和《數學物理學報》副主編，是《中國科學》(數學)，《Applicable Analysis》等刊物的編委。
生平經歷
1979年9月至1983年8月 湘潭大學數學系基礎數學專業學習，獲學士學位
1983年9月至1986年7月 湘潭大學數學系計算數學專業學習，獲碩士學位
1986年9月至1989年6月 中科院武漢數學物理研究所攻讀博士學位
1989年6月 獲博士學位
1989年7月至1996年4月 中國科學院武漢數學物理研究所工作，歷任助理研究員、副研究員、研究員
1996年 入選中國科學院"百人計劃"到中科院應用數學所工作
1996年至今 在中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院任研究員
現任:
