2006年9月至2009年7月於北京師範大學生命科學學院獲得碩士學位，專業：生態學，導師：張大勇教授
2009年9月至2015年6月於美國德雷塞爾大學生物系獲取博士學位，專業：微生物生態學，導師：Jacob A. Russell教授
2015年9月至2019年3月於美國德雷塞爾大學生物系Jacob A. Russell實驗室從事博士後研究工作
2019年6月至今就職於北京師範大學生命科學學院，任副教授
研究內容
研究動物與微生物共生關係維持的生理生化過程及其生態學影響。目前主要以昆蟲，特別是螞蟻為研究對象，採用多種研究手段，包括野外實驗觀察採集、高通量測序、生物信息學分析、微生物培養及基因功能驗證等，研究共生細菌的生物多樣性、進化歷史、生物學功能及其對宿主生態和進化的影響。
