达摩凤蝶学名：Papilio demoleus Linnaeus, 中文别名黄斑凤蝶、花凤蝶、无尾凤蝶。[1] 与柑橘凤蝶相似，幼虫为害柑橘新梢、叶片，造成叶片残缺不全。严重时，枝上叶片被食只存叶脉，嫩枝光秃，影响生长，还因伤口而感染溃疡病。
物种简介
- 于中国大陆、香港及澳门又名达摩翠凤蝶，台湾称其为花凤蝶。分类为Papilionidae 凤蝶科 、Papilio 凤蝶属。
- 是一种常见的分布广泛的凤蝶。
- 与其他凤蝶不同的是，这个物种没有突出的尾部，而且此蝶和另一个类似的物种非洲达摩凤蝶一起被称为“死亡之蝶”。
- 该物种是害虫和入侵物种，已从旧大陆的蔓延到加勒比和中美洲。
外型特征
- 属于中型凤蝶。
- 这种蝴蝶无尾，翼展为80-100毫米。[2]
- 躯体背面黑褐色，散布有黄色鳞;侧、腹面奶黄色，上有四条黑褐色粗纵线。后翅外缘波状，无明显尾突。翅背面底色黑褐色，翅面密布黄白色斑纹及斑点。后翅前缘Sc + R1室内有一蓝色环纹，臀区有一前方冠蓝纹的红斑。翅腹面有镶蓝边的橙色纹。

物种生态
分布范围
- 此蝶是世界上分布最广泛的蝴蝶之一。
- 分布地区包括阿曼、阿联酋、沙特阿拉伯、科威特、巴林、卡塔尔、伊朗、阿富汗西部也许包括东部、巴基斯坦西部、斯里兰卡、印度、尼泊尔、缅甸、泰国、菲律宾、柬埔寨、中国南部、日本 （较少见）、马来西亚、新加坡、印度尼西亚、巴布亚新几内亚、澳大利亚、夏威夷、其他太平洋岛屿也有可能。[4]
- 近年来，该蝴蝶在西半球蔓延到多米尼加共和国的伊斯帕尼奥拉岛，[5]之后到牙买加[6]和波多黎各。[7]多米尼加的蝴蝶来源于东南亚，但是物种如何抵达当地目前尚不清楚。[8]
