Since its launch in 2007, the Young Designers Market has been a forum to showcase the diversity of Australia’s untapped design talent and has helped launch the careers of promising local designers. It gives aspiring designers the opportunity to showcase their work in an up-market setting, among other high calibre up and coming artists and designers. In order to be eligible for the Young Designers Market all products offered for sale must be designed by the applicant.
Generating a strong, loyal following from Brisbane residents who are seeking distinctive, affordable designs, the market is located on Little Stanley Street at South Bank – perfect for those who love to dine, shop and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The Young Designers Market happens on the first Sunday of every month, 10 am – 4 pm.
