===斯宾塞昆虫标本馆===

斯宾塞昆虫标本馆是乔治·斯宾塞（George Spencer）博士在1920年代创办的，其中部分标本是早在1830年代制作。标本馆创办时还不是不列颠哥伦比亚大学承认的标本馆。斯宾塞博士退休时，收藏的标本数超过30万。标本馆在1953年被正式宣布为大学的标本馆，“作为学生和动物系送的退休礼物”。1958年，杰弗里·斯卡德（Geoffrey G.E.
