澳大利亞聯邦（英語：Commonwealth of Australia^[1]），通稱澳大利亞（Australia^[2]^[3]，縮寫為AU、AUS），中文環境下（尤其是臺灣、香港等地）常使用「澳洲」代替「zh-cn:澳大利亚;zh-tw:澳大利亞」，是全球面積第六大的國家，大洋洲最大的國家和南半球第二大的國家。澳大利亞國土包括澳大利亞大陸，塔斯曼尼亞島及數個海外的島嶼，面積和美國本土相似，是世界上唯一一個國土覆蓋整個大陸的國家。與隔海相望的東南近鄰是紐西蘭，西北是印度尼西亞，北邊是巴布亞新幾內亞、西巴布亞及東帝汶。澳大利亞的首都位於堪培拉，最大城市為悉尼。
